Granada for Art’s Sake

The Art in Granada was not typical contemporary or fine art paintings; but rather, the ceilings within the Alhambra, the beautiful flowers of the Generalife (pronounced Hen-er-rah-lee-fay), and the wooden doors that protected the entrances to homes and other places (that we could not enter). The detailed work on all the archways and walls was also spectacular. We had a great time in Granada, and I encourage you to look up whenever you are in the city, and take note of your favorite doors and flowers that are abundant in this old world city.
